Last January 6, 2025, BAYeNIHAN TV (“Baye” meaning woman in Visayan) was launched with the support of Global Affaires Canada and Philippine Business Social Progress as a continuing Information, Education and Communication (IEC) of Boracay Women Producers Cooperative (BWPC) and the Federation of Women Associations in Boracay and Malay (FEWABOMA) for news, views and stories of WOMEN, by WOMEN & for WOMEN 🙂 WOMEN HELPING WOMEN to stop VIOLENCE, DISCRIMINATION, PATRIARCHAL CULTURE and POVERTY AGAINST WOMEN 💪👍👊 We are able to feature and assist women, men, LGBTQIA++ seeking help, advise, information, health, financial, emotional, spiritual, mental, legal, medical and emergencies, episode after episode. We also highlight the success, achievements, positive, happy, interesting stories for inspiration, change and give credit to the rescued or survivor of violence, discrimination, patriarchal culture or poverty. The tv show gave an empowerment platform to these victims and advocates for women empowerment, equality, gender and development.
